hello… I'm currently using OceanWp. If i install and activate GP, would i have problem with the existing website content? I'm a bit worried to migrate from oceanwp to GP because i dont want to mess up the website.
Wanted a detailed video badly but some changes are added in the new version, the add new element does not show Block type, only header, hook and layout. Some minor changes in this version kindly keep updating. Though the last section on elements was boring which i skipped, I was looking to make a blog website. Thank you very much for the detailed video.

Great video. I have been using GeneratePress for a while and I learned a lot from this.
I must have missed something along the way in following along. When I set a featured image on the blog post and then view that blog post, not only does the image show in the header of the post as defined in the element that was created, but the featured image also appears in the body of the post like you would expect a featured image to do. However, the featured image is not showing in the body of your post in the video.
Did you alter the default post layout during the tutorial where it does not show the featured image in the post and I just missed that part?
Good to know about this theme. I'd love to learn about what you think of Divi. I wonder whether their theme is a little slow and bulky?
GP was been my main theme for years. It's amazing what you can do with hooks and GP Elements. Dynamic content is in alpha right now and once released, will permit building any layout for posts, category pages and other archives. I'm also enjoying using Kadence which has similar features.
