Etsy is an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of homemade products. Their Team page made our list for its attractiveness, inclusion, and simplicity. The first picture you come across on this page is that of people sitting together in a garden and looking like they are in a cheerful, pleasant mood.
Scrolling down, you get to meet its Leadership—the top shots—and a sentence description of their roles under their names. You’re taken to an extended biography page when you click on a name.
Underneath the Leadership division is a huge mosaic of headshots that features every other team member. You will note that this arrangement isn’t uniform, which signifies the uniqueness of the company’s services and laid-back environment.
2. Stink Studios
Stink Studios is a digital agency (or a studio, as they prefer the unconventional term) that is into creative advertising and campaigns. The team page displays its employees’ full pictures in a transitional array of backgrounds based on your device type.

The limited showcases allow you to focus attentively on the members, and the whole setup gives a colorful, fun, and unusual vibe.
Lateral is a design company specializing in creating, developing, and engineering innovative and technological products and their branding. This website has one of the coolest team pages we’ve seen, even though it is desktop-friendly.
You get to see animated headshots of the team members that rotate in the direction of the mouse’s cursor. When the cursor stops on an image, the animation turns to a real picture, and the rest of the animated headshots face the highlighted member.
All you get from this is a powerful message: ‘focusing on you is our priority.’
4. Digital Marmalade
Digital Marmalade is a web development company based in the UK, and they have one of the best and most interesting Meet the Team pages around. At first, each worker has an industry-standard headshot, and they all have a background that is alike. The headshots are aligned to one side, and they carry snippet bios aligned to the other side.
Click on each name, and the mindblowing profile begins. On a headshot are three columns titled “Industry,” ” Personal,” and “Superhero.”
The Industry column contains details such as years in the industry and of working with Digital Marmalade; creative, programming and coffee-making skills, etc.
The Personal column lets you know the employee’s favorite food, football team, movie, holiday destination, etc., on a childhood headshot, and the Superhero column measures their “superhero” abilities such as healing, flying, and speed powers against a superhero picture.
This unique combination is a surefire way to pull potential clients in and stamp that real touch.
Firstly, portrait-sized pictures of its team are sharp and beautiful against the colorful and inviting box-and-block backgrounds. Then the pictures extended beyond the box limit at the top as if to pass across a ‘thinking-out-of-the-box’ message.
Secondly, the images are shifting bubbles decorated with angles and signs such that a bio square pops up when you hover on one of them.
Finally, this team page is one of the few that has external links to employees’ social media accounts. It is just quite the human feeling a company’s website needs.
6. The Events Calendar
The Events Calendar is the team behind the the most popular events calendar and ticketing plugin for WordPress.
Similar to Atlassian, The Events Calendar team page displays portrait-style pictures of its team on colorful backgrounds. Each picture has an artistic flair due to a fun background design.
A surprising element of this team page is the hover state of each photo. To add a secondary dimension to each portrait, you’ll see a photo of the person doing something they enjoy—like Neill surfing or Leah riding a horse. This reflects the fun personality of the brand and the people who do the work behind the products they create.
Successfully running a website is certainly no easy feat as a lot of effort and dedication goes into it. A visionary and strong team is one of the success factors, and they can make or mar a business’ legacy. Not many people achieve lasting influence or sales without them.
