  4. Hi Adam. Thanks for this introduction to Lisfinity. I am just finishing up my first build with this theme and it is pretty awesome, however, they REALLY need some help with How to Tutorials. I know how busy you are but it would be great if someone (hint) would do a more in depth series on how to use this theme. it has SO MUCH functionality built into it but there is no "How to" laid out in a logical workflow kind of way if you know what I mean. The developers are VERY helpful and responsive and have been willing to help and make adjustments. Once you figure out the support process they are awesome. Just needs someone to really dig in and show how to use it. Of particular interest to me is how far you can go with Elementor. Right now, you can't really touch the User Dashboard to tweak the design or layout with Elementor but hopefully that is coming. All that said, I have to say, for the money, this theme is a GREAT value.

  21. Allow me first to thank you for the great, really useful, well trusted and highly appreciated video tutorials you frequently create.

    I would like to suggest for the very next tutorial to be about creating a viral/buzz content websiteย 

    (similar to BuzzFeed, 9Gag, Bored Panda, Reddit, ViralNova, Bright Side,…).

    Those viral websites along with content marketing are really making a lot of money and ranking very high.

    I conducted a long and deep research but could NOT find great and up to date tutorials on the web or on YouTube regarding how to create a viral website and the right ways for finding viral content for the website (Google trends,…).

    Which would be a good opportunity for you to create such unique tutorial(s) and guaranteed to have above 100K views on YouTube.

    I have been exploring Bimber and Boombox themes (both have ready built in solutions) but maybe you have better solutions.

    Your advice along with a detailed (step by step) and updated tutorial showing the right theme(s), plugins and how to find viral/trending content is highly appreciated and trusted.

  22. Dear Adam you gave a great review but our experience of this is not the same. Did you set it up from scratch?

    #1 BUG: Does NOT display Mapbox maps. Developer claimed "We added Google Maps, MapBox, and OpenStreet Maps are fully supported with the Lisfinity WordPress Classified Ads theme."

    DEVELOPER STATED: "Itโ€™s a bug, will be fixed in the coming version. Credentials are looking good."

    STATUS: Not fixed in the latest update. Repeated the issue, and was told twice it's working. We provided further evidence, screen shot and wp-admin access. 'Bane' states he fixed the issue. Bane states "I resolved the issue and let you know exactly what was the problem and the file that was changed." But actually he closed the ticket before exaplaining: "Just copy lisfinity-core.php file from lisfinity-core plugin. Setting that was called from the database was wrong."

    #2 POOR FUNCTION: Does not serve scaled images. The ads are serving large images but being resized in css. This results in poor performance and therefore poor ranking. Check the demo pages using GTMetrix. Yet the theme author claims high performance. This is not an issue of image compression; the images served are far larger than the design requires and are resized in CSS.

    DEVELOPER 'Bane': "Weโ€™ll improve it of course but not in the next update as this is not priority. Not a single other customer reported anything in regards to this."

    #3 POOR FUNCTION: Can not easily migrate categories and ads from Adifier theme. Author states "Yes, you can completely migrate your site to the Lisfinity Classified Ads WordPress platform in a fairly simple way using the WordPress All Import plugin, free version of that plugin…."

    STATUS: Categories need to be manually entered, and there is no migration from custom post types used in Adifier to Woocommerce products used by Lisfinity.

  24. Great video, I wish to ask is there a way to hide specific listing fields and some categories and make them visible only for site members with a subscription plan?

  25. I was looking at CarSpot theme because it has some nice features for the community options. Would this theme option come with an option to used as an app?

  31. In my opinion classified ads themes sometimes have too much features and plugins, which cause problems. For instance many of those "telephone" home and throw data around. That makes problems with the local data laws. Too much stuff means also cookies and third party connections. I use the classified ads theme from SEOS . Not too much functions and no third party connections and data transfer.

  33. Adam – Lisfinity website and their Facebook page are displaying 30% off (new price US$41) but when I go to buy, it says US$59 in the shopping cart! Have left messages – no reply. Hmmm.

  34. Hi! Great video, really interesting theme. Not quite what I'm looking for unfortunatley. Any advice on which plugins would intergrate well with buddyboss to allow members to create classified adverts on their profiles. I would also like to put this feature behind a membership plan?

  35. Obbe if the most missing fetures in all listing websites is service features like an internal booking option for each listing and another thinng that is very missing is allowing each listing owner to write and display posts on their own listing – Do you think that they will add this maybe?

    However, it is not a pleasant surprise, that it is based on Redux framework. I know this is a handy solution for developers but sorry – this is not a professional approach for me. Why this additional plugin for maintenance and unnecessary code? (Redux). Why don't you build your own theme option framework if you are so innovative?
    Huge disappointment at this point. Hope you can do something about it in the future @Bane Stojanovic

    P.S. I think you should inform about this (Redux) in the item description so that there will be no disappointments for some people after purchase.

Thanks for the awesome content, I have a question, if I have elmentor Pro, which has the theme builder, does it matter what theme I choose, I. e if I used astra/kademce/hello would I use anything from the theme settings since I can control the theme from elmentor theme builder, feeling confused with this, hope you can help clarify this for me.

I have a web host already but I was wondering – would I miss out on anything of importance in buying a single license Astra theme with a single license Thrive Architect page builder versus a $228 full Thrive membership package?
