  2. Hi ferry – I have set up Woocommerce for digital downloads but find I cannot upload the zip folder to the media folder due to permissions and not a supported file type. So I created a download folder and FTP it into there. However when I try to use the link Woocommerce also gives me a permission error! Nobody seems to be able to support me in a Woocommerce group and yet thousands of people are selling digital downloads. I would really appreciate any pro advice you can give me to get my shop going!

  14. Hi Ferdy, thank you very much for your video's, excellent. Please can you advise on how, for an electronic download, when the "virtual" and "download" boxes have been ticked, can you reduce the WooCommerce "Account" fields to a minimum, such as First Name + Surname + Email on Account establishment, for the purchase to go to the customers email for their subsequent download. I currently have all the fields showing, such as County, Town, Address, Phone, etc etc and for downloads this is not required and often a turn off for people downloading either a free or paid file.
