BATON ROUGE —- One person was transported to a hospital in critical condition after dozens of rounds were fired off Thursday evening.
There were multiple scenes where shots rang out in the Gardere area on April 13 around 7:40pm.
Some of the streets where shots were fired include Mariner Dr., Ned Ave., Skysail Ave., GSRI Ave. and Burbank Dr.
EMS confirms transporting one person in critical condition.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is working the shooting scene and deputies remain on the large scene piecing together details.
Drivers are asked to use caution as some streets near the crime scene are shut down at this time.
As of this time, no arrests have been made and a motive is unclear.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
