Does anyone know if its possible to use a Square terminal with WooCommerce for in person payments?

If you are unable to find square in your payment method list, you will need to do the following:
If you are using wordpress.org
1. navigate to the plugins screen of your dashboard
2. search for square
3. download and activate woocomerce square (the one with a terrible rating, unfortunately)
4. navigate back to the payment method screen and you should now have the square option available for selection
If you are using WordPress.com:
1. On the payment method screen, scroll down to the bottom and click "see more options"
2. on the wocommerce screen that apears, scroll down and click "square"
3. click "free Download" under $0.00
$. log in to your wordpress.com account
5. idk from here because I don't use the .com version of wordpress

i encountered this error using the square. “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”. what should i do to fix this error?
