For the first time in recent history, SEC Media Days will be held in Dallas Texas during the week of July 15-18. Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian with players representatives Quinn Ewers, Jahdae Barron, and Kelvin Banks Jr. will be available to the media.
Horns Illustrated will be there to capture moments, stories, and ask them all some important questions.
We also have questions for LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama, and, of course, Texas A&M.
We have questions like, “What are your biggest concerns for when you play Texas? Is it just media hype or does Texas truly have a chance to go all the way in their first SEC season?”
There are many complex storylines developing between the teams, coaches, and players. For Ewers we are curious about a specific three, maybe four, seconds that will change the entire game and want to know his thoughts.
For coach Sarkisian, well we are going to keep that question a surprise. If we get a chance to ask one, his answer will be revealing and insightful as they usually are.
Jahdae Barron is a very special player who decided to go one more season before entering the NFL. Mark my words, this man will be in the NFL and play at a high level.
Not only is Barron playing with a heart full of passion for his family and friends, he also has an extremely high football IQ which another season at Texas will refine even more.
Actually all three of these players will no doubt sign NFL contracts.
We are looking forward to the first SEC Media Days.
Stay tuned!
