WooCommerce merchants in the US and UK can now sync their stores with TikTok Shop for seamless selling to millions of users.
TikTok is the fastest-growing channel for discovering new brands and products, with millions of monthly active users and more than 61 billion views of the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt hashtag alone.
TikTok Shop lets TikTok users buy from merchants directly in the app, removing steps from discovery to purchase. Since launching TikTok Shop in the US and UK, millions of purchases have been made on the social commerce platform.
Now Woo merchants can easily sync their catalogs to TikTok Shop via the TikTok for WooCommerce extension, making it easier than ever to sell and advertise to a highly engaged audience.
Merchants can share their Woo catalog to TikTok Shop — eliminating the time and effort needed to manually add products. Once synced, merchants can add those products to their TikTok Shop, plus use their existing product imagery and descriptions to create eye-catching native ads like Live Shopping Ads or Video Shopping Ads. Orders placed on a TikTok Shop are synced back to Woo.
Woo was one of the first ecommerce platforms to launch an integration with TikTok Shop.
“Woo is invested in unlocking sales channels and advertising opportunities to help our merchants achieve their number one goal — driving more sales,” said Paul Maiorana, Woo CEO. “We’re looking forward to the option for users to explore native checkout on TikTok with their Woo stores as a central dashboard.”
Phone accessory store abbyrose was an early adopter of TikTok Shop catalog syncing through a recent Woo beta.
“We have loved being one of the first businesses to enable this connection on the Woo platform, and it’s been great to work with the TikTok development team to get it running smoothly,” said Ashley Rosilier, abbyrose chief technology officer. “TikTok Lives have been hugely successful in building our followers and creating more engaged and passionate customers — now we can tag products and allow shopping during Lives. Our TikTok followers have increased by 15,000 in the one month we’ve had TikTok Shop enabled, and just over 10% of our sales have been through TikTok Shop since it launched.”
The latest TikTok for WooCommerce extension now includes TikTok Shop integration, currently available to merchants in the US and UK.
