Note – I accidentally deleted a clip during editing explaining how we fixed the issue on my friend's blog. We had his host do a full rollback of his blog to before he installed the nulled theme to fix the issue without them charging a fee. Some hosts will only keep backups of your blogs for a short time period so this can't be relied on.

Which is your favorite free WordPress theme?
Great video Shaun, just subbed, I have been blogging for an year now have a website with 200 articles in a relatively good niche, but get around 2000 visitors a month, I m quite staunch on making this work so have decided to atleast post a 1000 blogs on that site before doing anything else. I try to follow income school's approach as much as possible and do quite some extensive research when it comes to keyword research. Would really appreciate anything helpful that u might have say, cheers
You don't need an extra fancy theme. Twenty Twelve is the one theme I recommend the most. Definitely great info for others, thanks Shaun.
Off topic question but… Alexa blog says you should start a new site with pages focused on low competition keywords. Then after the site gains some authority you can begin targeting higher competition keywords.
Is this a strategy you use or agree with.

Ok, on your recommendation I checked out builders society and read the first page of the DSCC… I have lots of feelings about it.
I remember back in the day there were are a lot of nulled plugins on BHW as well and they were quite popular. My grandmother often said: If something seems to good to be true, it probably is. Good that you make the people aware Shaun 🙂
Today I switched from Neve (which I like) to Astra theme on a new website to try it out. Why did your friends switch from Astra to Generatepress? Should I try Generatepress as well? Instead of Astr? 😀

I almost fell for this when a theme site was selling the premium theme for less than half price. The site looked legit, but the parent company said it was a nulled version of their theme being resold.
