Learn create an online course with WordPress – using only free themes and plugins. The best way to do this is with Tutor LMS free version and a good free theme like Kadence. The most important thing you’ll need is good webhosting, get a free trial with Cloudways here: https://ideaspot.com.au/Cloudways
Tutor LMS also has a pro version which provides a lot more functionality, this may be nesessary on some projects, check it out here: http://ideaspot.com.au/TutorLMS’
Also have a full Cloudways setup guide here: https://youtu.be/N7C9RR28Ggg
Though I have other hosting recommendations over on my blog here:

I wanted to focus on a free option for this video, but if you don’t mind using a pro plugin up front, I’d recommend using LearnDash which has better integration with Kadence theme and Astra theme right out of the box. You can get a discount for LearnDash here:

Great tutorial! I have been evaluating several LMS plugins and was wondering if I could use the free version of Tutor LMS with a payment gateway. Thanks again!
Great tutorial! I would have liked to see the completed final product earlier in the course, perhaps at the very beginning.
wow this is gold, thank you so much
Thnks!❤
I built my courses after your great info. tho, the plugin creates a bigger headache. user enrollment simply does not work. i think it is because of the different payment options or some other issue with german wordpress rules. their support is basically non existing and for the user control they charge a premium of a light 800 bucks currently. well. wasted a few days and gained a few unhappy customers.
Sir, why are you whispering?
This is so good! I've literally just watched and followed along with all the steps and videos you recommended and now I have a fully functioning website and course! Amazing!!
Благодарим ви!
Should i use this over LearnPress? Which has the least fees for monetisation ?
Thank you Alex! Very clear – I'm about to build a course webpage now 🙂
Wow nice. Great job. . Is this All free long term? I can create a membership site and accept payments all free?
❤ merci
Congratulations for the videos.
I'm doing the same as the video, but with Elementor.
In the header and footer with Elementor in the registration page using kadence Theme, it always gives error or is without formation. Any suggestion? How can I make it work?
11:21 Is it possible to remove/delete Course curriculum? Like if I am trying to sell the course as a normal WC product.. But I still need LMS to have Class management, Any advise pls?
I love this
Hi there, great video. How would adjust the login form of the dashboard?
I want to do everything that is happening in this demo step by step – except I want to replace the username/pword functionality with a Google/Facebook social login. CAn anyone help me combine what is going on here , with that?
Very useful video. Thank you
Very useful video thank you… even if you just wanted to find a way how to easily create nice looking wordpress websites for free, pure gold content thx again
After researching other LMS platforms, I concluded that Edredo is a perfect platform that is completely FREE, has all the features like other platforms, and has some additional advanced filters. Overall, a free and new place to learn and connect with a new group of teachers and students across the world.
I've used a number of LMS platforms and concluded that Edredo is a perfect platform that is completely free, and has all the advanced features. It's a great place to connect with teachers and peers. An incredible way to interact, socialize, engage, and grow.
This was amazing! I literally set up my entire course step by step with this video! Thank you sooooo much!
Hi,
I'm creating courses site according to the video and they are divided into categories.
At Woocomerce, I want to sell products such as virtual/download, which are PDF/video files, also divided into categories.
How to do this? WordPress does not differentiate between Tags and Categories when providing the list of categories and/or lists of separate courses from the list of virtual products.
OK, I've been searching a lot for the best free WordPress course plugin and this video was so awesome. You answered all my questions. This is the best video with all the details – you're simply great bro… and Tutor LMS is the best free plugin.
This is nice!
Can other third parties also offer courses on my website?
Is it possible to have a course live stream then connected to the course itself? Cheers 🙂
the brevity and clarity are unmatched. very informative !!!
Last registration code??
Really great
Hello. at 9:43 at the bottom right we see the tutor setting. I am not able to see the "Make Public option anymore in my dashboard. Do you think it is because of the update? or did I skip something?
I'm so grateful for this video. Thank you!
Thank you for this great video tutorial!
Thanks so much. You are always amazing. You are doing well. You solved all my headache regarding online course set up. All I need got solved in this video. I love you SIR!
Thank you so much. Detailed, yet concise. I was having issues setting the course page up and this video is all I needed.
I wonder how many people like myself are starting and stopping this video and rewatching sections as they go step by step putting together their online course. I’m super glad that I found this channel.
Hi, your videos are really helpful. Wondering if you have a solution for Tutor LMS not showing in the WP Customization menu, using Learnify theme. Thank you in advance
Can I use these plugins even If I already have an LMS theme from Divi in place?
Great video, thanks. One question please: I see no way to "customize" my page. Is this because I don't have a paid version? There is no "customize" link on my desktop anywhere near where you've clicked to take you to customization. Nor is there any "customize" option I can find anywhere else in my interface. Thanks!
Why doesn't my customize have tutor lms . 22:11. Can someone please help.
All Youtube tutorials should be like yours. It was so clear plus it served perfectly! Thanks a lot!!
Thank you! So helpful.
Once again…Anyone? It seems to me that Tutor is the best looking, most intuitive and complete plugin, plus it's free….At the same time it feels like it's too sensitive….I mean the quizzes just won't work and bits and pieces work when they feel like it….I am using Astra or Neve…all the same. No extra plugins than the usual, brand new website. WHAT A BUMMER ! HELP !
Many thanks, bro! You rock!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Does it work with woocommerce subscriptions?
Please anyone…I have the latest version of Tutor and WordPress, I use Astra….I have tried deactivating every single plugin but still…………It does not give me the option to place an aswer….IT JUST ISN´T THERE! Please….If anyone here knows what is causing it or any recomendation let me know
Did all the 3 options(like, subscribe & drop a comment), this was very interesting and exactly what I needed, thanks for the tutorial!
thanks for your valuable information. i have question and i need your advice please
i made my website on WordPress with Jannah Theme, and i want to sell my Courses online through this theme. is Learn press plugin working with it?
and your advice what to do
thanks in advance
Best regards
Great video!
It was really helpful.
Does anyone know how I could sell a tutor lms course as a subscription without having to pay for woocommerce subscription? Thank you for your answers
really I hate it when a tutorial is not thorough because you made it somewhere else. hearing that in the video is such a turn off for me. if you are going to re do a video start from the beginning. Beginners are not going to poke around other videos. they are going to go with one and stick with that one person.
Thank you sir, dope info
