#ProfitableTools #WordPress #tutorial #Plugins
In this video, I’ll go through a few plugins that I deem to be essential for a successful WordPress website.

I’ll show you my favorite antispam, SEO, and Image optimization plugin. I’ll even show you a great way to add Facebook Pixels or Google UTC’s to your site with Astra Hooks.

๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ SUCKER TRAP VIDEO – I'M CALLING FOUL ON THIS ONE ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿผ
Nice ideas, but too many items you are promoting are essentially useless unless you buy a paid version, and you're glossing over that part.

ShortPixel for example – the 100 image limit: You carefully didn't fully explain how that works in practice, but I found out AFTER I had spent my valuable time (at your suggestion) checking it out, downloading & installing it, and then having it run on my site and come back with "495 images need to be optimized, you are only allowed 100, please upgrade to a paid version" message, on a WP site that only has about 40 of my own images uploaded, excluding the WP-installed images.
So my guess is that the free version will practically never work for 99% of WP websites as they usually have in excess of 100 images loaded just on the WP installation side alone, before uploading any of one's own images.
And in 99% of cases these user-uploaded images only need to be – should be – optimized BEFORE being deployed on the website, and users could be using one of many FREE offline tools to do that. But you never mentioned that.

I'm sure you know that there are better, free or less expensive plugins out there that offer the same functions as the plugins that you're suggesting, and if you want to keep your supporters you may want to go find those better plugins and suggest those instead.

Same goes for Astra, Cloudways, etc, all designed for Pro users and set up to make the affiliate marketer their 30%+ commission, and in many cases they are not the best solutions for us average WP users. Not to mention that some of them (Astra for example) are extremely complicated and only worthwhile for professionals who use them on a daily basis and can wring the most out of them.

Disappointing video at best, but more importantly a huge time waster for your viewers who spend their valuable time checking out what you suggest, only to find they're being suckered. ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘

"Profitable Tools"? Maybe you meant "Profitable Tools for ME When You Buy What I recommend"? …
    "Just saying". Unsubscribed.

nice work Dave….I use most of what you recommended, but found some new ones from this video like WP Mail SMTP. Question, If I'm using G-suite for my domain email and Fluent forms, etc.. for email capture, etc.. why would I need the Mail SMTP plugin. Thanks again.

Thank you for providing great content, as always. I have ShortPixel and also using free CloudFlare plan and anytime I run GTMetrix tests, it always seems to have "issues" on the ShortPixel requests. I looked through documentation on both and still seem can't to fix the issue ๐Ÿ™

Dave, instead of using ShortPixel Image Optimizer, I use ShortPixel Adaptive Images. A major difference between the two is that my preferred plugin includes an image CDN among other enhancements.
