how sad that one year later everything is completely outdated already and nothing works anymore. I imported the .json file, but the step on minute 9:23 is not possible. Now it's Google Tag and nothing is there. Don't know how to proceed…

Hello, I greatly appreciate your video, eventhough I am fairly experiencet in overall IT, this is like a learning latin to me, so please be patient with me. I have done everything until 10:08. At the Tag Assistant page I have the GTM-TVQS9JRN tab (simmilar to yours GTM-P73J6SZ) and in this tab there is a message "Google Tag: GTM-TVQS9JRN not found. Please verify that the tag: Is installed on this page or Is not being blocked (by a browser extension or a consent dialog). Secondly I have another tab UA-308434-29 saying "Legacy tag for UA-308434-29 detected, The Google tag (gtag.js) and Google Tag Manager offer an improved measurement experience, giving you better control while making implementation easier. Upgrade to gtag.js or Google Tag Manager to debug your tagging." And lastly I have third tab G-7Q0QNSJ03Y similar to your G-6F75JGJ13T that has several records/actions in it but it does not recognise add_to_cart, purchase or checkout. it contains other data. Can you please help? 🙏 PS: I also have the "Lara's Google Analytics (GA4)" plugin installed in my WP. not sure if that could collidev with something, if it is a good thing to have or if I can remove it…

Hello, I cannot see the tags fired in the GA4 Container in Preview mode (No hits were sent by this container). I installed it with the latest version of GTM (the one with Google Tag instead of GA4 Configuration). What could be the problem? Should the events start populating in the GA4 soon?

How to remove old gtag.js? In the Google Tag Assistant all the information passes through GT-XXXXX tag and GTM-XXXX is barely used. Even, in Brave browser GTM didn't work at all.

Called in tech support for GA4, they just telling me to install the script on all pages. Keep telling me to ask web developer to push events, etc… The developer with me on the call asking them how to do it – they cannot answer. Despite the fact that we told them the website has WooCommerce and running on WordPress.

Thanks Benjamin for this video, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo simple and easy. Thank you!

Thank you very much for this beautiful video and for the container!! The only thing that does not measure me is the purchases. I don't know why, in analytics the purchase conversion appears. I don't know if I'm missing something additional to configure.

Thanks so much for this video. I have implemented exactly and purchases etc are still not recording or firing in Analytics. Is there anyone to help me get this working? Not sure what to do – feeling a bit lost with GA4 to be honest. Thanks in advance

Hi Benjamin!! is super usefull video THANK YOU! I got a question… i actually want to use google tag manager to keep track of events not only for GA4 but also for facebook pixel, but im kind of confused. When we use the file you provide us and install the merge tag for creating and tracking the events from our woocommerce store in google tag manager, those events are now created in google tag manager right? and if so, when they are created, they link themselves with the events we can select to track in the configuration/events tab in GA4? Or do we need to create again the events in the event tab in GA4? the one where you can mark as a conversion or not.
