WordPress business owners should strive to be adequately compensated for the hard work they put into their plugins or themes. In other words, they should make a fair profit for providing a useful or valuable product. Offering lifetime licenses for WordPress plugins and themes is something that can definitely damage the sustainability of a WordPress business, and that’s simply because lifetime licenses often don’t make financial sense for a business’ bottom line. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not completely against lifetime licenses, but we at Freemius believe that developers need to consider the full ramifications of offering lifetime licenses in order to better sell and promote their WordPress products and have a sustainable business. The major key here is putting the right limit and restrictions on unlimited lifetime licenses to leverage all the advantages of a lifetime license without being bound to offer free services on unlimited sites for life.
Here are all the best ways to get the best of both worlds.

I have seen few gig on fiverr about installing Thrive Themes/plugins with agency License and provides lifetime updates.
I want to know how is it possible when agency License is 600$ per year for 50 sites and they are selling for 10$ only to many people?
Are they selling GPL or Nulled ?
If yes then does GPL and nulled get updates
nice…sir please make a full video how to make a website to sell themes and plugins..i mean from where we get themes and plugins and upload thwm on ourr website and sell them..and how lincenses key works..please make a full video on this,. thanks
Hi, What about wordpress.org repo with "only GPL" requirements? They reject our theme, because we were selling single license packages on our theme shop. Here is their comment:
Hi,
as explained on the requirements page, the theme directory only accepts
themes from theme authors if all their themes are 100% GPL compatible.
The themes sold on your own website has limitations on usage that is not
allowed by GPL.
Great video – I hope that more authors will adopt the limited domains model 🙂
