  3. Do you think that as a beginner that i could create a nice website with the cadence + getwid combo ? or is it still rather complicated when compared to Astra ? I want to be sure that my website is as fast as possible but also eye catching, but i dont want to build with Astra and have to rebuild later on to optimize with site speed. What do you think ?

  19. Kadence blocks and Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg is what I use the most. I especially like the ability to customize the columns with Ultimate Addons. I don't find that with Getwid. Sure Getwid has a ton of blocks. But most of it is redundant with what Kadence offers and layout is where I find the columns customizer in UAG shine the most – being almost able to replace Elementor.

  20. Page builders will not become obselete especially the big 3 provided that they keep supporting it.

    Users that don't know how to optimize websites using page builders need to take more time to learn it or hire someone that knows how to do it.

    I've been using gutenberg for a while. Based on where it's going, gutenberg will never beat page builder's editing experience especially Divi and Brizy.

    Gutenberg can have the same set of features but it will come down to the editing experience. It's not about who has the most features. Elementor has the most features yet not everyone is sold by it.

  28. What I am really missing are animations… This is where Elementor is just way superior. The free animation-plugins are not that good, they paid versions might be good though. A good example are the hover effect between two images

  29. For Woocommerce blocks, consider 'ProductX – Gutenberg WooCommerce Blocks', by wpxpo.
    I don't like Coblocks because it is made by GoDaddy. 
    Consider Liquid Blocks instead because they have 37 "block patterns."

    By the way, thanks to your advice, I switched from Astra to Kadence theme and blocks. It is so much easier and faster now using a near page builder.

  34. Thanks for the excellent advice. I am about to build my first web site. I am thinking of using your suggested combination of Gutenburg, Kadence Blocks and Getwid. I presume you also include Kadence Theme in that setup you are recommending or do you prefer to just stick to Gutenburg and blocks?

  38. Amazing comparison – Stackable has some great designs but lacking on innovation in the blocks – There is another one I use often because it's unique blocks – Check out GutenBee from CSSIgniter, very cool blocks and pricing is amazing – Free 🙂
